New Atlantic Development

The Company

New Atlantic Development is a Boston-based real estate development company dedicated to the creation and preservation of vibrant and diverse communities.

New Atlantic specializes in developing affordable, mixed-income, and service-enriched housing. Recent projects have also emphasized live/work space for artists, cultural and retail space, and the rehabilitation and adaptive re-use of historic buildings.

The firm usually acts as owner and developer, but can also offer its expertise to property owners in a joint-venture or consulting structure. Many of New Atlantic's projects involve a relationship with a non-profit organization, whether as co-owners/sponsors, property managers, or service providers.

The planning of each development project includes a concerted effort to reach out and work with neighbors and local community groups to enhance and add value to the neighborhood that each project is located within. This commitment to community involvement comes from a firmly held belief that each project is stronger and more successful if it emerges from a well-informed and collaborative effort to shape change for the common good.
